Platypus - sidestand collected.

  1. The threads on the shouldered bolt turned out to be a bit nadgered when
I took it out - they may clean up with a die, or you may need to
find/have fabricated a duplicate shouldered bolt.

    Anyway, it's with SD now.

    The Older Gentleman says...
The side-stand has been fitted. I used the original bolt that was still
in the bike. I had to fit a nut to the other side because the thread in
    the frame lug was buggered.

Indeed. Much thanks to TOG for the stand, Dodgah for the delivery, and
Lozzo for leaping into action and performing the installation. The Z200 is
currently propped up in the drive, lounging raffishly on its new stand.

And as always the test driver, the one who first risks life and limb by
taking the stand out on to the public highway, is forgotten.

    Bloody typical.

Oh and it works by the way. As if you are interested ;-)

You were elected on the grounds of your extensive experience of
    sidestands presumably?

Setting off on the Gyp BMW, a shout comes from behind:

    "Don't forget the sidestand!"

    <thunk>

    "Don't forget the other sidestand!"
