This is especially intended for new motorcylists. My nephew, Issac came
home from the army within the past year and excitedly bought a motorcycle.
He did the right thing by taking the MSF course and getting proper
    equipment.

Issac's attention to the rural country road apparently drifted last Thursday
evening while coming home from a day's ride through the foothills of
California. He missed a turn and left the road. Issac was declared brain
dead at 1:30 this (Saturday) morning California time.

My plea for those who have friends and relatives who love them is to just
keep in mind that while motorcycles themselves are not inherently dangerous,
they, in conjunction with the road must be respected because the combination
of the two can and will kill you. Issac was 32 and leaves behind a young
wife, young children and many grieving friends and relatives.

    .....please be safe.

    Russ
(Motorcycle enthusiast and rider for 41 years.)

  2. US government - heh - yeah, good luck on that one.
Response as eloquent as you'd expect from a septic.

People die. Shit happens. We neither need nor want to be told about
people we never knew, nor do we wish to be told what to do - that's
why some people ride bikes in the first place.

  4. Heh heh heh.... as expected.

I bet you sat there whooping and hollering as you typed your reasoned and
    educated response didn't you ?

Or at least while you looked up **** in the dictionary.

    Same state as you?
    Good.
Now YOU do the honorable thing and drop dead into a pre-dug grave, you
    cross posting freak.

My next door neighbor's (of ten + years) son, has wrecked 5 cars since
    I knew them.

He is now 19, and "daddy" allowed him to buy a used Suzuki 600 cc
    thingamabobrickyroadracer bike... red in color!

$10K was too much for that jackass to buy my Black'03 FLHT standard that
includes the leathers that would fit him perfectly, so he paid $7.8K for
a pretty red thing that sounds like a bee farting after it ate too much
    liverwurst, beans, and prune juice.

    Now?
He LOVES running up and down the streets at full throttle,
    "practicing" Wheelies and Nosies!

He wears a full face helmet, that accompanies his _ short sleeved
T-shirt, Shorts, and sandles_(!!), and races on the city streets until
close to midnight to impress his 15 year old, 3'7" gothic female friend
that is covered with so many tattoes, that she would make a pedophile
from the hells angles wanna barf.

Well he'll be sat there for sure and you can guarantee it. Why? because the
fucking idiotic tosser doesn't have or ride a bike, so he's got **** all
else to do. He IS the safety nazi too. Doesn't like wheelies (better not
come anywhere near thee or me on my drive then, eh? :)
He couldn't look up a **** in the real world, never mind a dictionary.

  20. I'm waiting for one of them to say we'd be speaking German if they
    hadn't declared war on Hitler.

Oh, and teeth usually come into the discussion at this point, for
    reasons I wot not of.
