The last 15 are easily obtained from
    http://www.livingroomcandidate.org/

I'm not sure any before the war would really be particularly relevant.
Things have changed a bit since enfranchisement.

On the contrary, this is UKRM. Sweeping generalisations are positively
    "de rigueur"

Indeed I've heard Arabs being blamed for the Slave Trade, I think
pre-dating the trans Atlantic activity. No doubt also a sweeping
generalisation and right and wrong in parts. I don't suppose they are
responsible for the rather active modern slave trade in Africa.

I'm with Sweller on this one.
Though that he is of mixed races seems to be a particularly good thing.

Of course, I should have realised this.
I don't know what the percentages are, but you could be right. I know
that slavery still exists all over the African continent, with Arabs
    playing a big part.

What confuses the issue today, is the definition of the slave trade
too. For example, in Saudi and the UAE, it's not uncommon to hear of
employers to take their employees passports off them. Whilst employees
are still paid, they can't go home unless the employer returns the
passport. Is this classed as slavery?

Milan's metro system screens had the result. I was surprised.

It's not such a big deal. I've been asked to hand over my passport
when I've landed for a 6 week stint abroad and it didn't bother me in
    the slightest.

Yehbut maybe because you're European, it'd be easier for you to get
your passport back if you needed it. I've heard of horror stories in
Saudi where employers have right royally screwed their (generally
Filipino and Indian as VAM suggests) employees. They also get treated
like shit. e.g. in UAE, I've met Indians living in cargo containers,
FFS, whilst they work on construction sites.

    You think so?

I was given my passport back along with my airticket home after a few
weeks in Slovenia only to find that my ticket was to Sarajevo instead
of Heathrow where the rest of my work colleagues were going. When I
queried the parentage my manager I was told I was single and it was
only for a week or so I shouldn't really be complaining.

This was when hotels in Sarajevo were having their 5* ratings
withdrawn and it wasn't exactly a tourist hot spot.

  15. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Cab
It's worse than that. I've worked with a number of Indian guys in the
Gulf, and they are totally at their employer's mercy. In UAE, for
example, the employer can fire you on a whim. You then lose your visa,
and have to get out of Dodge immediately. The employer can then block
your return for a period (six months, IIRC).

The B&B I stayed in near Sorrento had Sky TV
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Italia

I bet those screens were Sky based and showed mostly items from a
    centralised source.
