    Pickles Auctions in Canberra had 7 or 8 posties for auction last weekend. I
    wasn't paying too much attention but I'm pretty sure they were 2003 models
    going for $700 to $1000.

    Like most auctions, it depends who's there. One car dealer is notorious for
    snapping up these bikes, I've seen half a dozen of them lined up on the
    footpath outside his yard in Mort St (not even washed AFAICT). The damage?
    Can you believe... $1500?

    Perhaps that is a good deal, as they are not available new, but a far cry
