it does give some wacky conversion factors.

    I'm off home in 4.566 x 10E-4 seasons.

Just because I'm going home doesn't mean I'm finishing work at that
    time, you know.

Probably. Or the land sped record could be broken with a 50cc moped engine.
I don't believe it should. Quite the oppostie in fact as it's not possible
to rag the bollocks off the motor.

Didn't impress the owner of the litre bike I was following, "You've run
    out of fuel AGAIN".

Didn't help when on the toll road I had to pull off to an automated pump
[1] and went through all my cards one by one. Eventually gave up and
asked the owner of the litre bike if they could try it. Who would have
thought the A button was cancel and V was accept, I was pretty sure A
stood for acceptez, no idea what V stood for.

[1] All worked out okay in the end because we passed the speed camera
van at I'm about to run out of fuel speed. [2]
[2] Which meant we didn't get pulled by the rather attractive young lady
gendarme at the toll booth [3].
[3] I'm sure it would have ended in tears.

    Who would have
"Verifiez" and "Arretez" for confirm and stop?

  9. 'Valider' rather than 'Verifier'. I think A is for 'Abandon'.

the fact that one was green and one was red should have given you a hint
    though.

I'm sure if they hadn't been so worn I would have twigged much sooner.

On close inspection I could just see a hint of green on a part of the V
button but had decided by then it was my cards and not operateur erreur.
