If I do that it's like trying to play 2 video games at once. One in
focus, the other a long way away and a few feet to the left and down a
    bit. My eyesight is fucked.

If you ride a bike fast enough at night you don't need to remove your
glasses to make it seem like a video game.

I've never really enjoyed riding at night but the 10R is a nightmare
because it's lights are so poor.

Hmm - and an eating disorder and Bi-polar.

    I'm thinking it's not 100% accurate.

    (apparently not OCD though)

well, yes - I've done the "enter the Hatfield Tunnel at 186mph with a
black visor on" thing - good clean fun.

  9. Well I can join you in the land of depression but not for OCD, Bi Polar
or eating disorder. The eating one seemed to concentrate very much on
anorexia rather than "being a fat bastard" which was a tad disappointing
    - I was hoping to break the upper limit of the scoring distribution :)

I remember it well.. and all was going fine until that fateful weekend
where an assignment and a weekend on-call clashed.
Have you been to one of the tutorials yet? There were people there that
I could barely resist hitting with my chair. :)

None of that, they're just piss fucking poor. I don't know about the
other manufacturers but Kawasaki really don't know how to make decent
lights and riding at night is nothing short of scarey.

I used to be able to cope with riding at night because you can see
what's coming and I never had a problem judging bends but the 10R
makes it a miserable way to get anywhere. It's not the speed because
you can control that, it's just that the lights are crap.

Not just sportsbikes. Riding that lane from Sarratt, trying to dodge
the gravel on my faired Bandit (with an 80/100W bulb in it) I couldn't
see where the **** I was going because Elly was behind me on the CBR -
so I was riding in my own fucking hadow. The shadow cast by her 55W
    standard Honda headlight.

The only way it could have been worse would have required Nidge behind
    me.

I think the standard headlight on the faired Bandit is ok, certainly a
lot better than a few bikes I could mention, the 9R included.
