Probably a bit of a long shot.

  1. Does anyone here use and install Autocad 2010 with floating licences?

I have a licence server for Autocad 2010 which I assumed was working
fine. This was until I installed it on a machine on another subnet.
Any machine on the other subnet will not see the licence server, even
if I put the licence server's IP address in when it asks for the
    Licence Server.

The server has an IP of 130.209.26.xxx and any machine that has an IP
that starts the same works fine. Machines with an IP of 172.20.26.xxx
will not see the licence on the licence server, although it will run
the deployment with no problem. Any ideas of what I can do anyone?

There are at least a couple of Autocad experts on here who might be able
    to help.

In the meantime, sounds like it could be a tcp/ip routing issue - can
the 172.xxx machines ping the 130.xxx server? Do you know what port no.
the license server runs on, looks like it could be 2080? You could try
telnet <ipaddress-of-server> 2080 from one of the the 172.xxx machines
and see if you get any response.

If your Autodesk reseller can't sort this for you over the 'phone I'd be
very surprised. The standard of their resellers seems to have improved
markedly over the last few years IMHO.
You could always call Autodesk directly. They are slow responding sometimes,
    but certainly capable.

If you can see the server, and not the licence, it'll be permissions.

    *Almost* certainly ;)
