    0-60 in 0.97 seconds? What would the Gs be on that, then?

    About 3.

    Oh, all right then, here's the sums. 60mph~=27m/s in .97seconds.
    Call it 30m/s in 1 second == acceleration of 30 ms**-2.
    G is 9.82 ms**-2, so about 3 times that.

    I did A-level Sums for a while in the 6th Form until it became plain that I
    was a clueless wanker who would never pass the exam and would be better
    suited to The Arts. I remember being able to work these things out, but
    never understanding them, IYSWIM. Funnily enough, I now find maths
    fascinating, and I actually understand stuff. I think the maths bit of my
    brain took longer to mature. So thanks for the working out.

    3G - isn't that around the point where the blood starts migrating to places
    it isn't meant to be?

  7. Yeah, the back of a car, by the sound of it.

    Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
    river cleaned out in a day.

    Maybe so, but sums is how you get the answer.
