prop up the tank??

How do i prop up the tank on my Ducati 800 SS. what kind of tools
should i use? where can i get it from?

 

My Suzuki comes with a metal rod clipped under the passenger seat. It
sticks into the hole in the nut where the fork pivots, and goes into one
of the front boltholes on the tank. The tank itself pivots at the rear.

Does your tank pivot like that? If not, you're probably out of luck.

There's a hinged prop under the tank, on the left-hand side. It pivots
down and fits into a little hole in the frame.
