  4. Google groups beta both threads and quotes. It's not as nice as a
proper news server as you have to use the web interface, but it's
    better than nothing.

It does, but it's usually considered polite form in usenet to leave
enough of the message to which you are replying in the body of your
    message. As you well know.

But, the other golden rule of usenet is to always reply with more than
you are quoting. Given that I was only replying with a one liner, I'd
have to have needlessly crapped on about something irrelevant (or said
something intelligent) just to get myself enough of a posting to avoid
    breaking the aforementioned rule.....

.......and as we all know, nobody likes reading useless waffle on
    aus.moto :)

Writing it, however, is another story...

  8. Shouldn't pose a problem to campers. The track will wind its way through
the campground and campers will be able to pitch their tents at their
"favorite" part of the circuit, according to the Linfox property manager
    who runs PI.

Given that there was already a go-kart powered tent in the trackside
campground this year, they should have some real fun powering around
    the mini circuit.[1]

[1] Just why somebody chose to install a tent over a go-kart is
somewhat less clear, but it sure looked amusing.

  10. I was watching it do a lap of the track after the MotoGP presentation
and when people were leaving the circuit. Cops just stared at it.

Apparently it's a Netrider associated contraption.

Same mob were "fishing" for women near Southern Loop using a, er, dildo
shaped bait. Not very successful, though...
