My points exactly, Elmer.. Until this bill contains mandates that directly
affect the insurance companies, the Bill is only a means to enhance their
bottom line and to furthur weaken the pitiful "Patients Bill of Rights"
legislation.. It goes even furthur to impact the home insurance and vehicle
insurance, negatively.. If this Bill is passed by the voters, we can all
expect to see insurance premiums increase and coverages provided, decrease..

  2. Here is a quick follow up to this issue. Here is a link to a man who had
his penis removed. Doctors did it without checking to make sure it was
cancerous or not. Now the man lives without a penis and guess what, no
cancer detected in the penis. Now under this proposition he would get jack
unless he was out of work for a couple of week for rehibilitation. Yet he
needs complete reconstructive service and he will no longer be able to enjoy
    the fruits of life.

Also if you remember the flesh-eating-bacteria that killed a lot of people a
few years ago. It spread across the country very quickly and didn't make
sense as to why it did. After research the government found out it was the
medical profession that was spreading the disease. Quarantee procedures
were being ignored and patients were exposed and died who never should have
been exposed. Yet after all these deaths not one person in the medical
profession was even charged with anything at all. I don't remember but I
don't think that the gov impossed any fines. Why should people stop
collecting for malpractice when the medical profession won't stop harming
    people.

You and I are pretty much in agreement on this one. I have a lot of
friends and acquaintances in the medical field / industry. The
insurance companies are definitely the largest part of the problem
(not that there are not other parts).

When you want to ride? Maybe a Cranfill's Gap run this weekend or
    something?

    Not likely (without a penis).

Sorry, just had to throw that one in!

I saw that story on the news. The doctors are trying their best to
blame this guy for it. Go figure.

And how about the doctor who was decapitated in the elevator in
Houston? The hospital insurance company is trying to say the doctor
was intoxicated. Like, who gives a rat's ass? It's not like the
elevator stops working safely if there's an intoxicated person in the
    doors.

Welcome to the world of "blame". Is this law going to address this?
Not hardly. As much as I can see, it'll increase it.
