Proud new owner

    Hi Folks,

    Took the plunge on Saturday and traded the Firestorm on an SV1000s.

    Very pleased with myself.

    Couldn't find a Ducati that was right for me (without an extra $15K and
    a f@%king dog riding position) so Suzuki it is.

    I went for the copper coloured one - wasn't that taken with either
    colour (the other is silver) but the copper is growing on me. Couldn't
    stand the look of the stock pipes but a set of Yoshi's fixed that.
    Sounds fucking great now too!

    The bike is a gem to ride. Brakes and handleing put the honda to shame
    and there's heaps of mid range grunt - just have to make time to run it
    in so I can get into the top end!

    Got the bike from Mat Mladin Motorcycles in Narellan NSW and can't fault
    the price or the service.

    How'd you go on the trade in?
    I hear Firestorms don't get real good money (better than Fireblades though!)
