Buy some credits then. Or wait until you've uploaded enough to earn
    some.

So use eztv as I suggested earlier.
They embed a unique id into the torrent file you download. The client
regularly sends back information to the tracker site about what it's
done, and includes that code. So that's how they know how much you've
    uploaded and downloaded.

What's your upstream bandwidth? A lot of clients will only take from
seeds that can provide data at a decent speed. If you're limited to
10k a sec or something silly, then nobody will leech from you.

It had to be port forwarded from our Router to work for TVT, now done

I thought that had to be the method.
Uploading is sorted and running but I bunged them a couple of Euro as well.

OK perhaps I'm still missing something, but generally download seems to far
ourweigh upload credit which is encouraging me to bung in more Euro?
I'm not really a fan of pirate systems set up to skim.

I've just downloaded the 1982 version of The Thing in HD.X264 from
elsewhere. Looking forward to that, it's a classic.

Caught up on True Grit 2010 at the weekend. I thought it was pretty damn
good. Grim and harsh. Very different from the original JW version, which I
always thought was also excellent, in the genre.

It's just you. I've hit over 60 GCreds before without ever buying any.

I've got 114GCreds atm, despite having recently given 10 away with an
invite and not really making any special effort to seed. TVTorrents is
just about the easiest tracker I know for building up a ratio, thanks to
    the double-credit model.

Still struggling on RevTT, but getting there. Slowly.

I'm struggling to see the point of RevTT when you've already got a
healthy tvtorrents account. If you've got a reliable supply of TV
stuff, why not just use isohunt for everything else & forget about
    ratios & credits?

Because some of the stuff on RevTT is significantly higher quality than
what's available via the likes of isohunt, if it's available via the
    latter at all.

    Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Ah right, maybe I'll keep the account alive then in case I ever get one
    of those there HD thingies.

I'm not sure any amount of illegal downloading would make up for owning a
    Harley.

One way to up your ratio there is to find the files elsewhere and add the
    trackers from RTT.

    Sounds like effort.

I've found the best way now seems to be to check what's hot, download a
couple of hundred megs worth of pieces, then seed indefinitely.

I would have a TVT ratio over 200 if I didn't give a way large lumps with
invitations. Stuff like Skins & Shameless usually gets to a 2x ratio before
I delete them. An episode of Lewis, which I've never watched[1] has got to
    over 8x.

As far as RevTT is concerned. I couldn't be arsed and gave up after the 2nd
snotty email warning me that I was inactive. I've got decent ratios with
thebox and UKNova but use them less than TVT.

[1] the 1st in the series was rather dull and I never got around to watch
the others but they seem good for building credits

Any suggestions of what's best to seed?
All I've downloaded is Cali S4 and Andromeda S1, none of which has a ration
    above 0.4x after a week

latest episodes of Being Human, Shameless, Skins, Family Guy, soaps - go
    for the non-HD versions.

OK this is curious. The TVT website is down (from my end) and none of their
torrents will seed. Me or everyone?

Episode 8. Mother and Daughter. Ooo Yaa.

They do seem to be leading Hank rapidly towards some kind of disaster or
    epiphany
