I noticed on the TT web site this week that they'd set up a 'live'
site so I'm checking it out during practice.

not only can you listen to the (possible dull) radio coverage but they
have the live timings available from various points around the
    circuit.

and in other news Guy Martin is wupping everyone's arse.

That's what I like to hear. I really want the fella to get a win this
    year.

I'm tempted to take up an offer of pit lane helping out just so I can
meet the fella. And I'm not normally one for hero worship, but I
    really like him.

you make him sound like a chrysalis.

Eww...that's put me off my tea[1]

[1] recently re-tried drinking tea - still can't stand it made with
    London water though.

I think it's because he seems so approachable. Plus he gets stuck in.
I've not seen many racers (outside of the amatuer stuff) getting his hands
dirty and fixing his own bike.

I'd do it. It'll be highly entertaining at least. And how often does one
    get such an opportunity?

In the cafe at work we have two types of tea: normal tea and 'dirty
tea'. Normal tea is made with filtered water taken from the coffee
machine and 'dirty tea' is made with unfiltered water that's boiled in
the kettle. Almost everyone has dirty tea when given the option.

you think he's too far gone to convert to the ways of the metrosexual?

Think of the fun you could have with those posh razors, getting rid of his
    ridiculous sideburns...

Same thing seems to happen in this office. The water stations have two
taps, one for chilled water and one for hot water. I usually make coffee
with the latter and add a dash of the former to bring it straight down
    to drinking temperature. Takes seconds.

Everyone else seems to boil the kettle. **** knows why.

Coffee made with water boiled in a kettle tastes just *so* much better
than the same water boiled in a hot water machine, obv.

I could just pop next door to Starbucks, or across the dock to whatever
the independent place is, or the other side of the dock to the chap
selling it from the back of a converted Ape. But I'm too lazy.

Oh sure, if I had to go outside[1] instead of walk 20 paces up the
corridor, I'd bring in a jar of Maxwell House.

[1] I suspect the coffee from Braywick Service Station isn't much to
    write home about.

I am jealous. Our milk has gone off because I forgot to put it back in
the fridge last night and the van with more milk on it doesn't arrive
until 11.30. So I have had no caffeine fix yet today. *yawn*
