" Medical student Allison LaFata, 25, said: "We think of you as prim and
proper. I wouldn't expect to go to London and see lots of drunken, rowdy
    behaviour."

Bwaahaaaaaaaaa. How little they know... But then we knew that, they're
    Americans.

Yeah, but we also think of them as gun-toting, inlaw-shagging, red-necked
    ingrates.

    I don't get this.

If, and it's a big if, the silly fucker is really starving
himself then I'm impressed by his reserves of will power.

  9. You impressed by anorexics too? I think it's fucking stupid. I have
too many friends with eating disorders to see someone like him and
    have anything but contempt.

Old Alison would be downright shocked if she showed up at the West Ham
    - Millwall match this Sunday then.

So, if you're going to steal the neighbour's newspaper,
That's the time to do it.

  13. I've not had any biscuits today. I am impressed if you can do 2-3
days. Oh, you mean eating *anything*? Have you actually done that?

Anyway, it's not like he's in a house with a fridge and cupboards full
of food, so he has 'removed the temptation' and therefore he's not
accessing as much will-power as you might think, IMHO.

    I can't believe I am discussing this...
    Good-oh.

Well I'm impressed by any display of will power. And you'll
note I used the phrase "silly fucker".

Treat it with contempt all you like, it doesn't stop me
thinking that it must take reserves of will power I don't
have since 2 or 3 days is as long as I can go without
    eating.

And re your friends with eating disorders; sorry[1] and all
    that.

    [1] Not really, I don't know them and couldn't give a flying
    ****.

The only *eating disorder* is getting fat.
Not eating enough is just plain stupid.

Just an idea like but couldn't we send them on VSO tours to famine areas in
    Africa?

Yes. On several occasions. I need to be in the 'right'
    frame of mind though...
Hmm. well I still think it's very brave considering his
reputation as a 'magician' is at stake. I think the man's a
prick for choosing this as a stunt mind you. Still it
doesn't stop me having some admiration in a 'could I do
    that' kind of way.

Well... it's obviously my smooth lines, sparkling wit and
    pithy conversation.

That or your indigestion stopping you sleep and you're in
    need of some boring...

Known any bullimics for example? I've known one and it's
    not straightforward.

And people not eating enough, well it's not anywhere near as
simple as it appears. Prolly is stupid though.

  20. Nah, Blaney's still not drinking I don't think [1], so there'll be
nothing but the best behaviour on show.

[1] in fact, i have no idea, but this being ukrm, i figured i wouldn't
let a little thing like that get in between me and my keyboard.
