    ....and beyond.

The limt in this case read '40' and was at the end of Newmarket High
    Street.

Yes, Italian Electrics have struck again, just under two miles from
home: at a temporary set of traffic lights for a horse crossing, the
bike just died and that was that. Fuel OK; battery survived a few
    attempts to restart.

I drew some solace from the fact that I was more-or-less keeping pace
with the race traffic that queued into Newmarket as I pushed the old
    bus home.

Several traffic police gave me cheerful encouragement as I reached the
    first junction.

I was going to go to the gym tonight, but oddly I don't feel the urge
    now.

Decent ,and reasonably priced, do seem to have become mutually exclusive
terms when looking for Morinis lately.

I know where there is a 'project' 350 Sport 'type' available, but I
doubt you would get it for £250.

    How about this one?

    Harrumph. I think not.

It did something similar a few months ago: got me most of the way to
work then simply stalled at idle at a junction and wouldn't restart.
In that case, like now, it was the first run after a few weeks without
use. On that occasion I scraped the relay contacts clean and it did
another fifteen hundred miles or so without a problem.

I'll find out tomorrow for sure, but I reckon a new set of relays may
    be in order.

It could do with a new battery, too.

Well, she's fixed. Error code 1.2: faulty phase sensor.

Or rather, a corroded connector block.

    <happy sigh>
