You can call me a TC but I've only just noticed, after owning my SOB for
nine months, that the headlight dips to the wrong side.
Is taping over the triangular bit on the glass OK for the MOT test?

Failing demon cunning trickery of the Gilera kind (involving twisting
the bulb round in its holder) that should suffice for an MoT. Not good
    enough for an MSVA though.

The headlight on the Ural is the wrong way round. To compensate, it has
been rotated in its mount. This was noted on the last MOT, but only in
passing: the tester wasn't bothered about it.

The headlight on the Dnepr was also the wrong way round. This was taped,
and had no problems on MOT. Interestingly, it was taped with "invisible"
sellotape, which did the job without being too obvious.

Difficult to rotate a rectangular headlight. Tape will do for the MOT
tomorrow then I'll try the scrappies for another lamp.
