    put a fork in hayden.

i'd been hoping he could conjure up some magic, but unless rossi gets
knocked off or the M1 breaks he'll be WC again. yawn.

Over here you can get 11/2 on Nicky winning the race, and the same for
    the championship.

    VR is 8/11 and 1/10.

    Other race odds:

    Capi 4/1
    Dani 6/1
    Troy 8/1

    25/1 bar.

If I was Hayden I'd be a bit worried by not only Pedrosa being near,
    but Stoner too.

Very impressive work by Bayliss. Perhaps Honda should hire him.

    LOL

I can't work out if that is irony or ignorance.

I think we will see Vale fly this race, he will want to win the championship
and win it with a race win too, I'll be very surprised if anyone is able to
wrench the victory from him. Nicky looks on form, if he had shown this form
throughout the season (as he did last meeting) then he may have already
clinched the championship but I don't think even his determination will put
him ahead of Vale tomorrow. I expected Melandri to be well up on the grid,
he may come through the pack and be a contender. If Nicky is able to pace
Vale then he may get support from the other Hondas (excluding Stoner who
won't care as he's moving to Duc) but if he if lacking pace and the others
are on it I think they will leave him to his own.

    I'll predict,

    Rossi,
    Capirossi
    Melandri
    Hayden
    Bayliss
    Stoner

Mild irony. Even if Bayliss was fired from Pons, being a satellite team
I don't think the decision can be laid at Honda's feet. Or is there
more to the story that I'm not aware of? Mainly I was thinking of
Bayliss beating Honda (Toseland) in WSB, and now out-qualifying their
    MotoGP riders.

I predict that once again today we will see Honda grab defeat from the
jaws of victory. Wouldn't it be even more ironic if Hayden was leading
home Rossi, with Bayliss between them, and Bayliss overtakes Hayden on
the last lap, reducing Hayden's race points advantage to Rossi to less
    than 8.

Nah! Just Go Ducati! And certainly Go Bayliss, it'd be so funny if he
came back onto the bike and skelped everyones arses.

Still, I have money on Rossi to win the Championship, put on when
Hayden was still miles ahead so I'll be happy if he wins.

It's going to be a bugger for Hayden to get up to the top if he has
one of his usual starts *and* has to get past the Bologna Bullets.
Hopefully more points for Ilmor though.
