My bike has a hand brake for the front wheel, a right foot brake for the
rear wheel and a left foot brake for the side wheel.

    Has it?!!?
I must check that out next time I'm over.
Is the side wheel brake a parking-brake or is it actually for
    riding/steering?

(PS; I'm heading over Mt Glorious to Esk and then Crow's Nest [lunch]
Toogoolawah, Kilcoy, Peachester, Landsborough and Caloundra-Airport to
check out a display of jet warplanes including a Vampire and a Meteor on
Sunday, with a few of the fellers from work. Leaving my house at 8:45 or
Esk at 10 and getting to Caloundra about 3pm if you're interested.)

Sounds good Clem, I will try and get away.

The outfit is nearing completion I am fitting R1100S callipers to the front
end and another calliper to the sidecar wheel as the current brake it too
small for real world use so one of the original K100 callipers will go on it
and most likely activated by a thumb master cylinder (I know where I can get
    one of those).
