Or anyone else who's done it,
Perth to Kalgoorlie seems to be about 600km, Would that be a good day's ride
on a decent big tourer ?
    Steve.

OR if you are Clare, do it in 3 days, travelling slowly, stopping off
at lots of places to have a look, and generally enjoy yourself.

Ok, a V50 isn't a "decent big tourer", but it's all in what you are
    touring for :)

kalgoorlie its self is a great place , if it was where southern cross is, it
Shame on nature for being so inconsiderate as to put all that gold so
far out! If only the open-cut mines and the slag heaps were 200 km
    closer to Perth!

That road will take you through York I think? Check out the motor museum in
    town. http://www.yorkwa.com.au/Motor.Museum/

Do they still have the road racing around the streets of York ?

"Round the houses" racing is making a comeback in WA. Happening in
Northam this year as well as regularly in York and Dowerin.

Block off the main st, chuck a couple of bales on the corner by the
deli, get out your lovingly restored irreplaceable 1940's to 1970's
    cars and go racing.

Some people just get bored easily. I've not found it boring in a dozen
    trips.

Nono, it's a misspelling of In Clem Ente, which is German for Clem
    having consumed a duck.
