I was told not to Mix Synthetic 2 stroke oil with regular 2 stroke oil?

What problems would this cause if my oil tank on a 2 stroke bike was low
with regular 2 stroke oil and I topped it up with Synthetic 2 stroke
    oil?

Do I really have to drain and flush the tank, pour in the new Synthetic
    2
stroke oil and blead the oil line?

Will the Synthetic 2 stroke oil help reduce decoking my engine and
    pipes?

What's the best way to clean 2 stroke pipes (expansion chambers) with
    and
    without removeable baffles?

  2. oil?

Yep, been told the same thing.
Dunno, to be honest, probably not much. I've been caught out before
and had to mix brands (though I think they were both semi synthetic)
    with no ill effects.
If you disconnect the feed line from the tank to the pump to drain your
tank (I wouldn't worry about flushing it out) it's a good idea to bleed
the pump. If it's easy enough to do it then I would, otherwise just
run the tank low and fill up with your new oil.
Probably, but realistically only if you run less of it. What bike is
it? How hard is it to adjust the oil pump? Do you know how to adjust
your oil pump? You can use a lot less oil with a full synthetic. Most
RZ500 owners have to back the pump off about 1/8 of an inch on the lean
side of the factory setting when using synthetic for example. Even my
old 1983 IT250 runs happily on 40:1 full synthetic (premix I know, but
    same principal).
Use good oil so it doesn't get clogged in the first place? ;-)
Seriously though, I've heard of people using an ammonia and water
solution in the pipes though I've never tried this myself. If the
baffles are removable, heat them red hot then quench in a bucket of
water. Might have to repeat a few times, but most of the carbon should
break off when it hits the water.
