aside from the obvious , when chains snap or derail and jam, and anything can
    happen.

are most honda's non -interference engines?. Pistion > Valves.

    I have CB750k6 SOHC4 and CB750 NH- 1993 DOHC4 and nx250.

    i was just curious.
thanks for any help or direction, did massive search on line to no avail.

I'd say no, the valves will kiss the pistons. Counter opinions welcome.

Surely with the compression ratio's bikes run at and the comparatively
larger valves than cars, it would be pretty rare to find any bike that is
non-interference? Certainly with my Land Rover Discovery TDi it has a
camshaft thats belt driven with pushrods to the rocker arms. If the belt
snaps, pistons & valves will meet but the worst damage is usually a bent
pushrod or two and maybe some broken rockers OTOH most OHC cars these days
bend valves and snap cams if the drive belt/chain fails and I'd expect the
same with any OHC or DOHC bike engine.
