Quick Q: License Suspension = Interstate ?

Does the license suspension of 6 months cover states outside of NSW ? I live
in NSW and am moving to WA for a few months, can I buy a car/bike and ride
it legally ?

 

What state license do you have and where did you commit the offense
that you got suspended for ?

 

moving to another state makes no difference, or everyone would have a
license in every state in the country!

Oh, I'm sure that no one outside NSW cares if you are licenced or not.
You will be able to tell the coppers at Eucla "nah, I'm only
disqualified in the place that issued my licence, so of course you have

Get yourself a NT drivers licence. There is no points system in the N.T.
If you get pulled over just tell em you are on holiday. Worked for me for
ages.

It depends on the state. For example I do not think this applies to
Tasmania as they opted out of the shared points database (mainly due
to cost)

your rego/etc. on.

 

Ya... I'll second that. I once asked a question about how many people
bought a big bore bike straight after they were off their restriction
and all they could talk about is how i was a troll and how they would
hose me off the road (all but one person who actually bought a 'busa
after his restriction).
