Bjay said)_Oh yes. ''to be noisy'' and on purpose, you say. Me two. I have a quiet one, and one with some sound that is music to me ears. to hell with efficientcy, it is a dang motorcycle, heh-heh-heh- ~bjay~ ~~~~~~~~Beemer writes)~At the St Pats day parade (a few photos here) http://stateson.net/ResearchRiders/photogallery/news/parade2/index.html there were 2 bikes that had to have straight pipes as the rear. We were the last group so the SAPD cops where behind us. Whenever our "bad boys" revved up the noise, the cops put on their sirens and started flashing their lights. I tried to get in on the fun by revving up my BMW but even the little replica 2 stroke at idle made more noise than me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Straights, nah. I don't ride with any one who ''runs'' straights. The two ole Harleys I ride with, merely have that great pattoned sound. My Shadow has some nice fairly mellow Cobras. I understand. Hey,man I bet that Beemer really sounds unique, eh? I really enjoy the sound of those CrotchRocket Sporters. Too me, that sounds like -bad ass power-. My Magna has that sound, not loud, but just right. It sounds like it is ready to romp and tromp. heh-heh-Bjay)
