Great, I can pick up some Eminems from the sweets section in Aisle 4
    while I'm there.

  4. I'm not sure about Paypal, to be honest.

By law, they can't debit your CC until they ship. So cancel it.[/QUOTE]

Interested. I wonder how that applies to the NEC box office who've
quite happily charged my CC £160 quid for tickets and yet they reckon
they'll send the tickets a couple of weeks before the gig.

    The gig is in May.

Ah, I suppose that would make sense, given they're printing the
tickets themselves I guess they'd be deemed to be in stock.

    Still, it's a bit annoying.

    Yes - I wonder too.

The main reason I ask is that I ordered something that used Paypal as
the gateway. I got billed, but then got a letter saying it would take
4-6 weeks to arrive due to a shortage of parts.

I felt a bit cheesed off they'd billed me, but I did realise it's
    probably a grey area.

    Still waiting mind you.

Did you find they cost more than you thought?

I got my refund and an invoice through the post.

What was 28 quid on the site turned out to be a total of 36 so there's
no point in me hanging around to buy one from a dealer.

They appear to be incompetent cunts as well[1].
Yup. I've just bought one for my bike. It'll either need drilling or
    it'll need smaller 'cators on.
I'd never deal with them directly again and I feel dirty just by buying
their stuff after such an elementary and avoidable piss-take.

[1] Went and bought a bracket for 02-03 R1, get home and open the box.
What's inside? Instructions on how to fit to a 05 ZX-6R.

I think I'll write to one of the mags about them.

Well, they quote the prices excluding VAT, so there's the 17.5% to add
on straight away and postage was just under £10. But they did tell me
all of that when I placed the order.
