That would imply someone got wood when they saw a Harley.

I hope they die, in a slow and painful manner.

    Really.

    Even?

That's what I wanted to get when my VFR went walkies. I only ever found
out who the breakers were. Accursio Dimino, Lee Feneck, Simon Mitchell
and David Durham are still on my hit list. This may be the scrumpy
talking at this late hour. Ten years ago, but I still remember the
sinking feeling when I opened that empty garage.

Now I always connect the bike to something solid using decent chains. It
won't stop the determined thieves, but it might mean they steal the
unchained bike next to mine instead.

    Commiserations to the OP.

Bad luck. I know how the anger of a theft burns at one.

Almax chain and it needs to be chained TO SOMETHING that can't be cut or
    moved.

As my father (z``l) used to say: they'd pinch the sugar out of your tea if
    they could.

Ultimately, though, it's just A Thing. When my ZXR4 was nicked from
outside my flat, I dropped the V5 in at the cop shop on the way to the
pub and started the insurance claim the next day. Other than a bit of
hassle, I found it hard to get particularly worked up.

Yes, it's just an object but the feeling of violation is bad enough,
but the inability to do anything about having prevented it or
recovering it is an uneasy feeling to have.

Bastards, some of us have witnessed how much you value your bike.

In the nicest possible way, I hope you don't find out who did it,
otherwise it'll probably be you ends up getting arrested !

Good luck with the insurance / recovery.

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
