R1 Plan....

    Righty ho, got a bit of a plan to get this R1 up to spec. As i only paid
    £2k for it, i reckon I can chuck a bit of cash at it & sell it as
    original if i need to.

    So, I'm gonna do..

    Brakes, new Brembo master cylinder & Bendix pads.

    Front forks re-valved & re-oiled, or get a set of R&T Ohlins, but ****
    knows where from.

    Rebuilt or Ohlins rear shock.

    GPR steering damper.

    Some dyno time.

    Some decent tyres, i hate these Diablos.

    Owt else i missed?

    Eh? You ever tried to fit a tail tidy to an older R1?

    I want it to look standard, but you knew that, **** :)

    it is a decent bike, but i want PERFECTION, YOU HEAR, PERFECTION...

    Also, i dont have 13k to blow on one, or I would, as you are aware :)

    Yeah, not stupid money either.
    They are rather expensive, but so what.

    Not used dunlop since my 'blade....
    Had loads of them on the BMW, they rock, they also feel very progressive

    Just bought the pads, the brembo & am waiting for an answer on a gpr :)

    Just got some Diablo Rosso Corsa's on the 600 that feel nice, only been
    for a pootle though.

    Champ, what was the Brembo you had on the 600, can you supply a link?

    i ordered 19/20 & some mega Bendix pads...
