The spokes go into the edge of the rim rather than the middle, so I'd
    guess so.

I like the sound and feel of the Beemer airhead, but when I test rode
an R75/6 it had less power than I had expected (and wanted).

So maybe I'd be happier with an R100. In fact I'm pretty sure of it.

One slight problem: I have too many bikes already which I also like:

    '07 Triumph Bonneville-Scrambler-Thruxton [under restoration]
'06 Suzuki S40 (aka LS650 Savage) [the one I actually ride]
'05 Sportster 883 [not insured yet]
'94 Magna V45 + sidecar [runs but not currently insured]
'85 Dnepr MT-11 + sidecar [also running and insured]
'79 Dnepr MT-10/36 + sidecar [not running] [never tried]
'71 BMW R75/5 [insurance write-off; not running yet]
    '72 BMW R75/5 bare frame
'xx various derelicts in rehab including 2 Honda 1xx's

Wow, now that I list them all that's a lot of bikes for someone
who lives in a trailer (or "caravan" in the Queen's English).

Where do I keep them all? At various friends' places scattered
around the city here. (Vancouver, BC, Canada).

That one's been in my watch list for a couple of days though it does
look a tad grubby. IIRC, yes they are tubeless spoked rims.

I rode one at the launch and thought it rather lovely. Don't think it
would suit the S fairing though as the instruments are much bigger and
bars are more T than S

  5. A friend had one: the "Mystic". He dubbed it the "Mistake".
    No idea

I don't think I'll bid. I really have to dispose of 3 before buying another.
    Shame because they are rare.

I've got a complete spare RS fairing I believe and a 3rd top half and frame.

The R90S had a certain presence for its day. Nothing since.

Wow that is a really beautiful motorcycle.
Is that a Staintune exhaust system?

Unfortunately they didn't change the tank to match up with the (very bloody
rare) short RS seat unit, which lets it down a little. But I'm looking at
this and at my RS and thinking Hmmm!

I'd love to fit tubeless wire wheels to my bike. I'm guessing there must be
a GS model drum brake hub which would match.

I thought he already had a perfectly good BMW to do that in?

It's not exactly child friendly is it?

I wondered if someone might be googling and find that.
There is a bloke out there with a 2CV shaped sidecar which can, I
understand, be piloted from the bike or sidecar.
