Anyone want a renovation project? I've got that many things going on at the
moment and I'm not going to get around to spending time renovating the R45.

Not running at present, seems to be some electrical prob .. .relay ... earth
    or summat.

    Make me an offer.

  2. Oh dear. Where are you? Is it an early one with ATE calipers, or does it
    have Brembos?

Oooo... though to be honest I probably ought to concentrate on getting
the thing going before I worry too much about stopping :-(

    Might try again tomorrow

  9. They won't fit onto the ATE caliper forks. You'd need to change the
    forks as well.

Hummm will need a low bhp bike for when the Apprentice passes his
test. Is the air filter housing silver or Black? (Easy way to spot pre
    or post 81 models.)

There is a chance I may be interested. send me some details.
North wales is not too bad for me as I live near Kidderminster and
regularly go to Oswestry on business.

    As it's a W, I suspect there's a fair chance that it's pre-81 - ATE
    calipers and a heavy crank

You would need the Nijinsky of Fibreglass to run you up an exotically
bulbous tank and seat unit, then a splash of excitingly retro stripey
rattle-can paint job. Then fit Guzzi pistons, Morini barrels, Royal Enfield
cylinder heads and NSU Quickly carbs. You will then have a conveyance that
will do 300 miles on a bladder of piss and make foreigners hurl at the end
of your journey. You will probably also get respect in Yorkshire.

I think you might have found the most desirable vehicle at Stafford
today in the car park. A Daimler Ferret.

I assume you know the difference between a Ferret and a Saracen armoured
    car?
