I'm thinking of adding Road race to my ACU license this year.
What's the cheapest racing I can get into?

I like the look of the cb500 series.

You should have piped up earlier - there was an endurance bike and kit
    for sale.

As an aside - just 'cos Champ's bottle's gone, did that really mean
that *everyone* else had to throw in the towel, too?

That was way too expensive for my needs. Especially the running costs
    £10,000 a year.
    I barely earn that!

It's very competitive, you should also consider the mini-twin series.

Well yes but with my enduro racing (which I don't want to give up) I need
    something cheap.

'cheap racing' = oxymoron, but I think that you've gathered that!

back in my day it was LCs (or MZs if you were weird), but that info's
    no good to you now.

Okay - good stuff. I just have a small issue [1] with the "hah blokes can't
take it" etc thing when it's coming from people who used to be blokes.

    [1] I don't know why.
