Actually they were all born female except one had some XX-Y chromosome
deviation which meant that the wrong gender was placed on her birth
certificate which has now been corrected and she is waiting for her new
    birth certificate. :)

Nah, just a bumpy road and an old tart riding on it.

Fair enough. I was just a little surprised that no-one had suggested
it, considering how much everyone seems to have enjoyed the
    experience.

Then again, it's not cheap fun, is it?

Very straight bat, btw. To be admired, a quality like that.

It sure is. Martin or Ann at Burwins in Essex Road, Islington will be
the people to talk to about it. I'm sure they'll be able to supply all
you need and give advice on what's required.

What, so you didn't have a penis or testicles?

    A lifelong of anguish.

    Two world renowned consulting surgeons

    My GP

Europe's leading psychologist on Gender Dysphoria

    Two specialist psychiatrists

    Two Endocrinologists

    Lots of operations

    Countless tests and scan

    Many X-ray

And all along I should have asked a bloke on UKRM.

    ;)

I'm not saying you shouldn't have changed. I'm just saying that it's
putting a certain spin on the situation to say that you've always been
a woman but for one little chromosone. I mean, you did have a penis
and testicles, right? Which would explain the birth certificate you
    got 50 years ago.

I don't know why you persist in trying to antagonise Molly on this. It
must be obvious to you that a large part of the whole gender dysphoria
thing is the acceptance that the, err, 'victims', are of one gender,
but 'trapped' in the body of the other. 'Putting a spin on it' doesn't
come close - it's a core beleif, if you like.

You seem to be implying that physical genetalia is all that defines a
man or a woman, but there's been enough discussion about it on here,
even if you've never looked elsewhere, for you to know that this is
not the way it's perceived by at least a significant part of the
medical world, who, one would think, might be a little better informed
    than your good self.

Absolutely, I had a penis, one testicle, one with half an ovary attached,
two more ovaries in the right place, a small uterus (removed), paraurethral
glands, vestibular glands, active mammary glands (boobs to you) a female
pelvis structure (males can also have this). It a condition close to
Klinefelter's syndrome but with a mosaic chromosome distribution. They can
test for this now and know what signs to look for at birth. I exhibited
those signs. People with the same condition and chromosome distribution as
me are normally classed as female at birth. Corrective surgery is usually
done before school age. This means that the child will not develop secondary
male characteristics brought on by testosterone. It's still quite a grey
area, I've only met one other person with it who had a higher XY chromosome
distribution than me and had surgery to remain a male. This included a
bilateral mastectomy, hysterectomy and he is now on testosterone
supplements. It only take a small amount of testosterone to create secondary
    male characteristics.

I wont even try to understand it all but at least I know feel that
    everything is right.

Did you know that intersex affects one in every thousand births? Obvious
some of these effects are minor.

It's pretty much all the doctor has to go on when writing the birth
    certificate.

Cheers mate and a fair point but at least it gave me the chance to try to
educate a few people that sexuality is not black or white. For all we know
there may be posters with a similar condition and perhaps they might seek
    professional help.
