  2. You learn something every day.

The internet tells me that the Flower Kings are a
retro-prog-rock band, presumably named after that nice
song "Flower King of Flies", and do versions of early Genesis
    songs.

    Are they any good?

  3. I think they prefer 'non-commercial rock' nowadays :)
Um. no. They don't do early Genesis songs. They do their own songs
(the guitarist/vocalist is a guy called Roine Stolt who is somewhat
prolific in his music-writing. And the rest of the band are pretty
    good at it too).
Very very good. And even better live[1]. If you don't like long songs
then they might not be for you mind!

    Albums to listen to:

    Stardust we are
    Flower Power
    Retropolis

...are probably the best 3 to start with. If you prefer shorter tracks
then Space Revolver would be better.

    Go to:

    hand pane.

    Phil.

[1] In fact you just missed them playing in London. It was very
    very good..

  4. Pedant!
By early I meant before Peter Gabriel left.

What does this quote from the url you mentioned,
    http://www.gepr.net/fafram.html , mean?

'Probably the best track is the reverent, somewhat over-long cover of
"The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"'
