Ran around a little bit yesterday doing the local errands..
The Green One felt pretty good, once I got 'er all warmed
up .. Damned thing did a little farting and popping when it
    first cranked up..

By the time I got it out on the street and showered down on
it a couple of times, that sucker settled down and ran like
the proverbial sewing machine.. as usual..

All those after Christmas shoppers were out and about..
The streets surrounding the malls were bumper to bumper.
lol.. Those idiots were trying their best to kill each other
off .. I guess they were scared that someone would beat
them to the sales, or something..

Anyway.. there I was.. pretty good little breeze gusting
around, once in a while.. and feeling real good, on my
Green Vulcan.. Couldn't have been out for more than two
hours, but it sure was a hoot.. Just watching some of those
cage riders was alarming.. Thought to myself.. "Self.. there
is always tomorrow and we can come back and finish all
    these errands, then"..

Well.. here tomorrow is.. and what a disappointment..
There has been one heavy rain after the other, all day..
Hell, I haven't even got all the crud off that Green Vulcan
after the last trip we made.. That sucker stayed covered
and on the mexican's patio.. all day.. Gonna be there till
    this weather straightens up, too..

Making plans to do that trip down to Guadalajara in a
few more months and there may be a trip to Austin in the
works.. I haven't got all the details yet, but Legislature is
going into Session next month.. Opening day will hopefully
see a few thousand bikers from around the state, visiting the
Capitol to participate in their government.. I've kinda been
out of the loop for a while, so I'm not sure what all is on the
agenda and of interest to us, but you can bet.. there is plenty
for us to do.. Till then.. Regards

    tomorrow Guest

Sunny, 58 degrees, and gorgeous up here in northern Virginia, Bill.
Rode to work this morning with a light jacket and summer gloves.

Supposed to be nice right through New Year's weekend and the ceremonies
    on Tuesday.

Come on up and we'll go for a ride! Pick up BJay on your way; I'm sure
he can get a kitchen pass for a ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway and the
    Skyline Drive.

I just ride around in circles and try to lose some weight, while I wait!

Can I come too?? If BJay can get his kitchen pass, maybe they can pick
me up here in Michigan. I'll blow the dust off my bike and practice my
'circle rideing' in the Walmart parking lot. Sounds like great fun, just a
bunch of 'regular guys' on a road trip... I can't wait!! I'm gonna go pack a
lunch. Oh, and I'll try to keep my nuts in a sack, so they done bother
    anyone, lol.

    Regards,

Whoo Hooo.. Kitchen Pass, hell.. From what I'm looking at between here
and there, it'd take more than a kitchen pass to get me headed out in that
direction.. These old bones will be hunkered down till this blows outta
here.. Can't speak for Bjay, but I'd expect he's doing about the same thing
    that I am..

I don't have any doubt that Bjay is planning to make that ride to Mexico
with us, later in the year..

You don't need to lose weight any more than my friend Ed Hart, but.. hmmm
wouldn't hurt anything to give it a shot.. Just occurred to me.. you chubby
guys just don't feel that cold like us skinny dudes do..

This bad weather shit .. just causes me to be grouchy as an old bear..

Oh no, now you gonna get Bill and his gang to rib me again 'bout them
KPs. They'll will probably say/think, ''Hail, Bjay, cannot even git a KP
to ride 650 miles down south Texas,''.(not to mention ride out of the
    State <g>)
Tim, your last sentence above is hilarious.
Thanks for it. Happy NY to Ya.

Vic, you got a memory like a darn Elephant. You didnt leave out one
Meta4 of things said to describe you, by Brian, and others. (you are
    good)
My favor-right one is; ''I'll try to keep my nuts in a sack, so they
    dont bother anyone''!!
Oh yeah, the Walmart Ride deal. That's a goodun! -heh-heh-
You know ol'e Tim is good too.
Thanks for the memories. (Bob Hope,1943)
    Be careful, but have fun.

I've got to tell you, Tim is full of shit! I rode with him for a bit
last summer and he wasn't riding in circles, he was doing figure
    eights! ;-)

Damn!! That's what's wrong with Usenet, once you think you've got a
person figured out, some one comes on and spoils the whole image, lol.
What's next? Are we going to find out BJay's got a permanant Kitchen Pass
hidden in his underware drawer? Or... perhaps that Brian's got a Masters
Degree from MIT? Scares the ba-gee-bees out of me, I tell ya. I just know
there's 'someone' out there that's seen me on my mortorcycle (actually
rideing it)... and there goes 'my' image, lol..

Vic; If you tried you could find one of them’ Walmart Buggie
Retrivers, who surely has seen you do your weekly Ride at the store
parking area. Git' 'em to post on here, about 'cha. (g)
About that permanent KP, I wish, ''that's all'' I can say about that.
