I like this, it's landing in the Woomera Prohibited area:

spacecraft on its return and are working closely with their Japanese
counterparts on the proposed path and landing of Hayabusa. This has been
an historic mission. It is the first time a spacecraft has made contact
with an asteroid and returned to Earth,” added John Faulkner, who is the
Australian Minister for Defense, quoted by Space.


I'm just imagining the scene where our government grows a pair and says
"Yes, we've recovered the capsule, and we'll be sure to hand it over as
soon as Japan stops whaling in the Southern Ocean."
