Yes and no. Presuming it's original I doubt you'd be able to find
another that good and for some people 3,500 or so is a small price to
recapture some fragment of their youth.

Thinking about it, it would be a small price to recapture my early
middle age let alone my youth!

While it's very clean and shiny I really can't see the attraction.
    Sorry Loz.

Mind you, I'll probably feel the same way about mid-90s GSXR750s in
    twenty years time.

What is the betting that it will be re-listed soon with a sob story about a
    non-paying bidder?

Pretty high would be my guess.

Bet it doesn't. Three other people all bid over £3k

I've just seen the bidding history. I wonder if a bit of Shilling
went on between 19th Jan 19:04 and 20:38?

  12. It's got one of those horrible universal after market front mudguards on
    it.

No it hasn't. It's got the original Yamaha front mudguard which the
horrible universal type was copied from. There is a subtle difference
that the trained eye will spot, your eye obviously isn't trained.

I sold my stuff cheap just to get it out of the way. In retrospect I
could have commanded much higher prices for a lot of the stuff I sold.

  16. Ok I'll take the word of the expert on that. It's low mileage so it
should be original. Nice bike. Mine was blue though.

I saw the light, I ended up on a Gixer via a Yamaha 4-stroke.

If you'd eve ridden one then you would see the attraction :)

Well, it looks shape-wise just like the CG125 I did my test on which
has got to have been the most un-comfortable bike I've ever sat on.

Plus I don't see the attraction behind having a bike whose main
selling point is the fact that it will seize on you.

Sorry but I just don't like 30 year old bikes.
