That would only be a mistake in that you can still get a new (pre-reg)
    one for that price.

Well this was all but new, the difference would be in the slightly
higher cost of bikes in NI.
That can't be doing residuals much good at all on the mainland.

Like I give a ****. It's not as if I paid top dorra for mine so it's
    all relative.

Aye yours was cheap enough. Those who pay full list (1) for such things
are pretty much asking to be taken down.
I see the new ones now, same colour as yours, £6895. That's a *raging*
bargain against the cheapest Gixxer K5 I see, or against anything else
    really.

    (1) often them with rather new shiny trade-ins caught in the trap

The bottom line is that a 10R has to be just about the cheapest way to
buy big BHP right now and as a bonus they're cracking fun to ride.

I think the problem (1) is that they got such a stinking press for
being a beast to ride that a lot of people avoided them like the
plague. Mine was an absolute dog to ride on the road when it came out
of the shop but at least I had the advantage of being able to look on
the net for suspension settings and alter things to suit. It helped
that the speed and tendency to shake it's front end at speed made me
persevere with it (2) despite the front and rear suspension chattering
and now it's fairly well sorted I wouldn't change it for another litre
    class bike.

    (1) What problem?

    (2) I wouldn't have had one if they weren't fast and a bit shaky. I
get bored with bikes that don't worry me a little bit.

I would if it was only marginal and Suzuki were offering interest free
    credit. They're better for touring.
Did he slow down to wait for you?
