What part of "Every Honda dealer in the UK has access to spares from
these people" do you not understand? Where did I say they were part of
the official dealer network? I merely stated that if you walked into a
Honda dealer in UK he could get the parts via Dave Silver. You asked if
I could get a petcock rebuild kit for a 30 yr old bike from my dealer, I
simply showed it was possible and where it would come from. Are you
really that stupid that you can't understand basic English?

I've no doubt a Honda dealer in the UK could still get me any part I
needed for a 1974 CB250K4 if I was willing to wait a few days, the
dealer back-up we get over here is far better than that in the USA.
Honda are even remaking parts for CB400 Fours again[1]. I don't think
you'll get that kind of back-up over there.

[1] That little lifting handle that TOG used to go on about being rare.
They're remaking them and other parts to fill a demand in the market

Inordinately. I'm gobsmacked at how well that worked.

There's a link betweeen guns and Harleys. If I bought a Harley I'd pray
someone would shoot me and put me out of my misery.

I'm not. It just seemed such an obvious piece of low-hanging fruit that
    I couldn't resist.

It's somehow quite reassuring that lots of others couldn't either. And
getting Lozzo called a rice-burning-fag[1] has to count as a worthwhile
    endeavour, surely?

It's fair cheered me up all round.

    Well done, everybody.

    [1] Or some similar rent-an-insult, I wasn't taking notes.

Oddly enough, I don't have a favourite gun.
