The little black plastic things that help to hold fairing panels onto a
Bandit, that you open by poking a small screwdriver in to the end of
    them.

Due to the special blend of brute-force and ignorance that is a
fundamental part of all of my bike fettling, I have broken a couple.

Are they standard motor-shop bits that I can buy anywhere or do I need
to get them from a Suzuki dealer? If they're standard things, what do I
ask for (size-wize, I mean - or do they only come in one size)?

I nipped into the local Halfords to ask, but I might as well have been
speaking Swahili for all the good it did me.

Phone your local dealer and ask them as they'll know
what you're talking about. You may be surprised at the
price as not everything is astronomically expensive from
    the dealers.

By the time you've arsed around in Halfrauds and covered
miles finding a motorfactors, you may have been able to
buy them at the dealer for 49p each.

You might find that plastic number plate screws fit, if you don't mind
    different heads.

I know exactly what you mean, but the local Suzuki dealer is 6 miles
away in a direction I don't generally go in, and there are two
motor-factors within walking distance. If they're a common, standard
item, it'd make life easier to wander up the road and buy some in my
    lunch hour.

Anyway, ta for all the responses - I'll try asking for those motormite
jobbies that Mark mentioned locally, failing that it's off to Lamba
Motorcycles for the gen-u-ine Suzuki-branded articles.

If not, they'll have something similar that fits...

Try calling them up and ask if they can spare a few samples.

Hohoho... That would be the bike with no fairing or side panels, and
therefore no brakelight, tail-light or indicators, and lots of bits of
wire flapping around and bits hanging off, would it?

You have an RF900 as well?

Eh? That'll be me well and truly whooshed then. Are RF900's renowned for
    falling to bits or something?
