In the face of climate change and depleting fuel reserves, we are
distributing an efficient electric scooter with 45 mile range in the
UK. Im not trying to sell the scooter on this group, mealy looking for
    public reaction.

Although the basic concept is not a new one, we are looking to compete
(on a cost basis) with conventional scooters in order to make the
electric scooter a real alternative. Along with the 45 mile range (a
massive leap forward in the e-scooter market place), there is now (I
feel) a practical reason to choose electric transport. Please have a
look at our website, and leave your reaction to the product. Many
    thanks

Can't you make one that looks like this?

Make it a conventional - style bike, capable of motorway speeds and a
*much* longer range... And cheap - I may be interested.

Emissions from few power stations are a lot easier to manage than
emissions from many vehicles. There are also a number of carbon neutral
methods of creating electricity that can readily replace fossil fuel
generators. Should there be the political will.

You perhaps thought your comment gave you the air of someone who has
their own opinions with an ability to see through the tree huggers' lies
and propaganda. It doesn't. It just makes you look a bit of a tosser,
    IMO.

A real rat, no question. But WTF is it? It appears to be a flat four
motor, but it's just _so_ not a goldwing and I can't think of another
    bike that used that configuration.

Ahh. Was my first thought, but the frame, tank and forks all look
wrong. Then again, in true rat styleee, they could be off anything.

GL1000. The 1100 has a more angular valve cover, with a central divide. I
vaguely suspect it might be a KZ.

Well at 11p per 45 miles they look quite a good alternative for anyone
wanting one just to commute to work and back.

Completely useless round here of course cause all the dual carriageways
are 60mph, and there is no way to avoid them if you want to get
    anywhere.

Just make em cheap enough that your average 16 yr old can buy one and
they'll be the next craze :)
