Well the bike is - 99% anyway. Look away Lozzo because it's fairly ratty on the surface. I discovered that the expansion chamber is probably nickel plated not stainless - hence the rustiness by the port. The dents are on seams and so I decided not to bother trying to sort it. If the bike shows considerably more potential than the rider I will treat it to a new FMF Fatty or Gnarly pipe (if available for a 96) or similar. In theory, it is going to be the most competitive machine in its capacity class that I have ridden for 16 years. If I can't get it up Hartland quicker than the Morini it will be very disappointing. Can't see me bettering the times I used to do on the Huskie, but in someone else's hands it ought to be quicker than the Nordwest. If it shows promise I will have the motor rebuilt ready for the lad to come of age.
