Well the bike is - 99% anyway.

Look away Lozzo because it's fairly ratty on the surface.

I discovered that the expansion chamber is probably nickel plated not
stainless - hence the rustiness by the port. The dents are on seams and
so I decided not to bother trying to sort it. If the bike shows
considerably more potential than the rider I will treat it to a new FMF
Fatty or Gnarly pipe (if available for a 96) or similar.

In theory, it is going to be the most competitive machine in its
capacity class that I have ridden for 16 years. If I can't get it up
Hartland quicker than the Morini it will be very disappointing. Can't
see me bettering the times I used to do on the Huskie, but in someone
else's hands it ought to be quicker than the Nordwest. If it shows
promise I will have the motor rebuilt ready for the lad to come of age.
These older strokers aren't that far behind the latest crop in terms of
power, and there are those who can make them go very well.

And a before shot (ginger) in its more natural element.

We are delaying our Easter trip to 'the chateau' so that the lad can do
Margam Park, so next on the agenda is getting a bit more bite in to his
YZ85 front brake, as it will be a bit faster than he is used to now it's
    on supermoto gearing.
