Kitbag. I need something huge - huge enough to take my 1-piece leathers, helmet, boots and gloves. Any ideas where I can get something? -- Lozzo Suzuki SV650S K5 Honda CBR600 FW trackbike Yamaha SR250 Spazz-Trakka Suzuki GSXR750 L Suzuki TS50X Suzuki TS50X

http://www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/880/mia/d/gelert+expedition+120+litre+cargo+bag/pid/6169304 I was looking at one of these yesterday as I may get one. Did the others have 120L or 65L bags?
There's only one answer: the Oxford Paddock Sack: https://www.motor-world.co.uk/show_prod.php?prod_id=18012&PHPSESSID=2bdd0c3a53b33b06ed09a793ccff601e I've got one and /all/ my gear for a weekend away goes in it, including the tent. They say it isn't suitable to be strapped to a bike, but I did home to Pembrey and back on the RF, with the pillion's gear netted onto the top of the sack, without any probs. And that included a fairly serious high-speed stint up the M4 when we were getting tired and cold and wanted to get home. I wouldn't use bungees to hold it on when stuffed full, mind. Ratchet straps are where it's at, baby.
Andy has a northface version of this which he bought from the climbing shop in Stony Stratford and uses it for all his trips away. -- Adie (replace spam with nickname to reply) UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/ keeper of the ukrm faq for my sins YZF-R1 : ZX9R E1 : GPz 750 turbo MRO#11 BOTAFOF#7 BOTAFOT#130 DIAABTCOD#17 MIB#24 YTC#16 BOB#15 ex-UKRMMA#22 BOMB#11
I bought one of these about half an hour ago http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2850894/Trail/C$cip%3 D1500011159.Garden%2C%2BDIY%2Band%2Bleisure%3EC%24cip%3D1500011246.Lugga ge.htm It's fucking massive, I could live in the cunting thing. My 1-piece leathers, helmet, boots, gloves, wash kit, a towel and a full change of clothing fit in with huge amounts of room to spare. -- Lozzo Suzuki SV650S K5 Honda CBR600 FW trackbike Yamaha SR250 Spazz-Trakka Suzuki GSXR750 L Suzuki TS50X Suzuki TS50X
Have a look at places the supply stuff to the building trade. Generally their kitbag type stuff is a quarter of the price of equivalent bags sold elsewhere - and if it's the more expensive type of bag then it's almost guaranteed to take a nuclear explosion before falling to pieces. Camera bags used on film sets cost around the £160 mark. Go to a builders merchant and get an almost identical bag for £55 that's probably harder wearing. -- Veggie Dave UKRMHRC#2 BOTAFOF#08 IQ 18 FILMS http://www.iq18films.com POST PRODUCTION http://www.iq18films.co.uk Toxic Shock Syndrome Gets More Girls Than Me
