German tightrope artist Johnn Traber has made a record-breaking motorcycle crossing over the river Rhine to amazed gasps of thousands of spectators, suspended 160 metres high. He fulfilled 14 revolutions around the 581-metre-long high wire attached to a trapeze driven by his 19-year-old son, thereby beating his earlier world mark of twelve. Running on a ridged front wheel, the pair performed the daredevil feat on the 16mm-thick rope at high speed.
