Reeeesult: Ebay (and Dynamic) come up trumps.

    Thanks to Dynamic of this parish sending me a link, I got a new(ish) engine
    for the SO's ZZR250 for....
    £13.00!
    FFS, the couriers will probably charge more than that to get it here.
    It'll be good to have it on the road again.
    Makes a change when you actually spend *less* than you intended on Ebay.

    Just **don't***!
    Mind you the only bit I need is the crank. And it was described as "good
    runner, 33k miles..etc". (1)
    We'll have to see. (Then take a FOAD big stick over to Ely, Cambs for a
    'refund'.

    (1)Then again, the one in the garage has only 27k on it and it wrecked a big
    end and still ran, albeit noisily.
