Laconi suffered two broken cervical vertebrae (C3 and C5), severe concussion
and a contusion of the lung. A CT scan for eventual neurological damage,
proved to be negative and for the moment he is in an induced coma and in a
stable condition.

Very good Pat.
Beattie DID take the chequered flag in a World Supers race (Phillip Island
1990) but was subsequently disqualified after post-race scrutineering found
the RC30 underweight.
I also forgot Nicky Hayden who also belonged in the Bonus A group.

 

I wonder if Darryl Beattie has flashbacks to his accident during his
MotoGP commentary whenever he sees Toes land...
