I have just officially rejected the BMW as unfit for purpose. The
thing is unrideable, it is just getting worse. I am not fucking about
with this any more. They managed to **** up the finance too. It's sat
in the shed going nowhere. It is 6 weeks old & has been in the dealers
3 times, once for a new front shocker after 26 miles ffs. This week was
a big pisstake, they didn't even ride it on the road & just said it
would be OK, it is not fucking OK at all.

    So, I'll await the response.

Yep, but if you don't try you never know. No matter, on to the next
    one. (NOT A BMW)

    So now you know.
You should try everything once, except incest, morris dancing and BMWs.

  6. Are they really equally bad, those three?

If you've had several BMWs, does that get you off the Morris Dancing
    bit?

Good, now go buy yourself a decent BMW instead.
Sounds like par for the course.
Just out of interest, if you were unhappy with their service why didn't
you grab the manager at this point? That's what I usually did in cases
like this. Not that it did do much good but hey...

Looks like the mob I bought my 1150 from has opened another branch then.
That'll probably do more damage to the bike than the window.

I do actually love the bike to bits, as quirky as it is. I'm gonna have
a gander at a KTM with luggage. Probably come out with a superduke
knowing me, but what the ****.....

Just been for a blast on the blade, it makes me laugh to myself like a
fucking loon! I really do need a trailie or big commuter, just so comfy
    for long distance.

I have had two inside six months. I'll not buy another of the current
range. If everyones banging on about the 1150, i might have a look at
    an Adventure.

Just make sure it's the non-ABS version. Take this as a piece of advice
from someone who had the ABS version.

BUt other than that they're pretty good.

If you've done loads of morris dancing can you give the BMW's a miss?

I predict he'll ignore this and buy the ABS equipped version.

Dont knock Morris Dancing, its big round here and two young lads who 'dance'
with the local outfit get more fanny than the average man should, well heaps
    more
than the standard married mans allowance anyways. One of them even managed
    to
pull a landlords daughter who is 'stunning' and nobody else has ever got a
    look in.

Something must have really gone wrong with BMW if they are all this bad.
The three I had were fine, but this certainly would put me of getting
    another.
