Haven't heard many bad things about them but I'd still prefer the 1100
as it's a lot smaller. Or at least looks like it.

 

Depends on your definition of 'near'. Nevertheless I'd say it's worth
the journey. It's not exactly close to me either but I'll be travelling
up there in the next couple of weeks as I need a new set of summer
gloves. I could go to HG in Maidstone but I know where I'd rather go.

Summer Gloves eh?

In October, any of the bike shops around here except the one in Leigh
that does the colour matching fashion leathers type place cos they don't
have a "gloves bin" in the back. Or the place in Benfleet any time of
year. Or the place on the corner in Maldon near the tyre place, the odd
bargain in there I have noticed when waiting for tyres.

I got a cracking pair in JJ's a few years back for a tenner, all
ventilation and external armour they are. Prolly piss all use when
dragged but well good for wing mirror "tapping".

And on the subject of global warming I don't recall wearing them
comfortably in April in previous years. I am usually quite happy to
stay in the Panthans until towards the close of the clout casting
season.

 

Pathans.

I've worn mine about half a dozen times in the three years I've owned
them.

I get cold fingers.

I would wear them as first choice for prolly 8 full months of the year
and large parts either end. Summer gloves in the dry in June July and
August but never before the reports of the First Wobblie Of The Year or
after the start of The Great Autumn Binning.

Just done the Whitby run on the blade with three others, one on a
gixxer thou, one on a ZX-10R & one on a Hornet 600. What a blast that
was. I can't say what kind of speeds where done, but it was fucking
quick.

Not bad for a two grand bike really. Oh, & a shite rider of course.
