  3. A heretic speaks:

I found it unlistenable, and turned over within 10 minutes to 'Late
Junction' on R3. That's usually the way with Pratchett for me, TBH. We've
had some of them on tape for the kids/long-journey interface, and they just
don't work for me. So much of the Pratchett charm is in the elliptical
reasoning, the sly jokes & footnotes and the witty asides; it's just not
straight-through drama. I prefer to read them than listen, but I can see
that the planned BBC film [of one of them, but can't remember which] could
    be fun.

I was sitting, nodding in agreement with that - and then I thought
about the film and the asides and footnotes. To be accomplished in
the style of Francis Urquhart, in House Of Cards, I reckon: "You might
    think that, but I couldn't possibly comment ... "

  5. Have a google for Streambox VCR and look for the complete suite. Some
    versions are crippled.
It allows you to download the .ra stream and save it.
I would send you a copy of it, but I can't find it atm.

I have a copy and if it picks up over the next three episodes may rip it
to CD. Mind you, the last time I tried to extract the sound track from
a radio program recorded of the TV it was a hell of a job to get it into
a format that will play on any old bog-standard CD player such as is in
    the car. Any tips appreciated.
