Not really. I sent an email to a lot of people inviting them and
there were several ukrmers on the list. The basic criteria were...

a) are they nearish Birmingham
b) would they actually want to come
c) do I know them/have I even met them

 

d) not a ****

 

I thought that went without saying.

I bumped into the guy who's got my old job today when I popped in to see
Graham at GLF, turns out he's from Dudley too, but didn't sound like it.

 

Barclay? Nice bloke. Covers a hell of an area - they all do now the
lines have been redrawn.

That's him, very nice bloke who didn't say anything bad about the old
rep (me) when prompted by Graham, which I found amusing.

I see they got the new Passats, complete with chav shopping list down
the front of the doors - that looks fucking terrible. I doubt they could
have found anything that shouts "Break into me" any more than that. It
puts the rep's garages in danger of being busted too.

 

You know that. I know that. The reps know that.

 

There was a fifth category "those who're happy to travel", admittedly
you were a longshot but you might have been in the country.

 

Well, if you are, then you're welcome to come along.
