Removable Baffle Exhausts

    It would appear that the best option to go for when buying a new
    exhaust can is to get a removable baffle version so you get the best
    of both worlds: ie a 'race can' kind of exhaust, complete with the
    relevant BS/'e' mark that makes it pretty much road legal.

    So my question is: Has anyone here ever been given a fixed penalty
    ticket or rectification notice for one of these BS/'e' marked cans
    because the copper in question realised it was being run without the
    baffle in place?

    I've been running a blueflame removal baffle device and have never
    even been questioned so I can't tell you. Only time I put the
    baffle/bung back in was for the MOT.
