    Hi,

I'd like to get to the battery on my new '82 Honda CB650sc NightHawk.
There doesn't seem to be a key-lock for the seat, but I can see the two
"hooks" coming down around bolts. The bolts don't appear to be the
wrench- or screw-type, so I'm unsure of how to remove the seat. Any
help is appreciated. Apologies for the newbie question,

    Joey

  2. Look for a key, a lever or a catch. There will be one.

  3. How odd! I has a stock CB650 and that had QD removable seat.

The thing is, there aren't allen heads. They seem to be just 2 round
bolts with no obvious means of extraction.

How far back on the seat are these things? IIRC, the bolts that Mark
Olson is talking about are located slightly more than half-way back,
_behind_ the hooks that hold the thing down. Unfortunately I don't have
time to look at the online fiche myself, but if you haven't, perhaps it
would be worthwhile. ronayers.com has it, as well as any number of other
    companies.

'indiana' is a 'nolnn' and 'hoosier' is a 'solkk'. Indiana doesn't solkk.

I know that for the 900F's there was an aftermarket 'kit' available (I think
that Dennis Kirk sold them) that replaced the two seat bolts with
    'push-button'
locking pins that would facilitate seat removal without using a wrench.
    Maybe
    that's what you have?
